To support the growing commitment to addressing women, girls, and gender equality in HIV policies and programs as marked by the UNAIDS launch of the Agenda for Accelerated Country Action for Women, Girls, Gender Equality and HIV, HEARD (Health Economics & HIV/AIDS Division, University of KwaZulu-Natal) and the ATHENA Network are collaborating to develop a Review of Women, Girls, and Gender Equality in National Strategic Plans on HIV and AIDS in Eastern and Southern Africa.
