Im not too sure about that Zombo - guns seem to make the home more dangerous for women! When there is domestic violence, research shows that a gun in the house significantly increases the risk of a fatality....
Educate Judges
In the Independent newspaper online today a judge was quoted saying ""On the face of it, an 18-year-old boy who rapes his 15-year-old girlfriend on one occasion must receive the same (life) sentence as a recidivist serial rapist who repeatedly gang-rapes and beats senseless a disabled victim whom he consciously infects with HIV," the judge said, noting several other "startling incongruities".
hmmmm.... So, your sentence basically depends on how deserving your vicitm is of protection by the law?
I think government can start by educating Judges.
There is a million things the governement can do
