Natasha joined Women’sNet from the National Research Foundation in February 2001, where she managed the NRF’s “Women In Research Programme”. Before that she coordinated the post-graduate women and gender studies programme at the University of the Western Cape in South Africa. She has a master’s degree in Regional Planning, and has been working as a gender researcher and activist for almost two decades. natasha@womensnet.org.za |

Sally-Jean's work in the gender sector started in 1991 with her involvement in the organisation People Opposing Women Abuse (POWA) where she worked as a volunteer counsellor for survivors of sexual and domestic violence and was the Information and Media Officer. She has since worked as a consultant, trainer and materials developer – training court personnel on violence against women, coordinating a manual women women’s rights, and participating in research on intimate femicide. She joined Women'sNet in 2001 after working with the organisation to develop a website on women's human rights. sallys@womensnet.org.za |

Janine (or Jan) joined Women'sNet in July 2006. Prior to this she was the assistant director and editor at Gender Links, an organisation working in the gender and media sector in Southern Africa where she managed and grew the Southern Africa Gender and Media Commentary Service as well as wrote, compiled and edited various publications. Before that she was the editor of Agenda, the South African feminist journal. She has extensive writing and editing experience and has worked in the gender and development sector for almost a decade. jan@womensnet.org.za |

Lauren joined the organization in 2003, but has a long history of collaboration with Women’sNet, starting with her position in SANGONeT, Women’sNet’s parent organization. She has extensive experience working in NGO’s and the Labour movement and is a dedicated human rights and gender activist.
