Eunice Mwesigwa
Eunice has been the Office Manager at Women’sNet since April 2007. Her responsibilities include the development of office procedures, managing human resources records, oversight of the finances and maintaining organisational systems and procedures. Eunice also ensures the smooth running of the administrative and financial aspects of Women’s Net.
Lebogang Marishane
Lebogang is an ICT practitioner and is passionate about ICT's and their use for development. She has been a content manager, website mistress, knowledge management strategy developer, technology programmer, a communucations manager and is passionate about technology. Lebo is no stranger to Women'sNet- she was an intern in 2001. She loves the bits and bytes that technology offers to empower people and is excited to be part of the Women'sNet team!
Eva Ramokobala
Eva joined Women'sNet in February 2008 as Project Officer. She is now Project Manager for Girls'Net. Eva has a BA with Media studies and Political Science as majors from the University of Limpopo were she also worked as a radio presenter for Turf FM. Eva has a certificate in Telecommunications Regulation, Policy and Management (TPRM) from the Wits Link Centre. She is believes education is a basic right and that no child should be deprived from it. When talking about the empowerment of women and girls, Eva thinks technology should be a sphere largely considered. Mo light!
Gertrude Pswarayi
Gertrude, a feminist, blogger and a freelance Journalist joins the Women'sNet team as the Resource Monilisation Intern. She holds a Bsc. Hons degree in Journalism and Media Studies and Certificates in Citizen Journalism and Web 2.0 and Proposal writing. Her experience in using the media for profile building, awareness raising and advocacy will be a valuable resource to our team. Gertrude is passionate about information and communication technologies (ICTs) and strongly believes that the effective use of ICTs is the missing piece in advancing human rights and other fundamental freedoms.
Sally-Jean Shackleton
Sally-Jean (or Sally) is Women’sNet’s consultant. Her work in the gender sector started in 1991 with her involvement in the organisation People Opposing Women Abuse (POWA). She has since worked as a consultant, trainer and materials developer – training court personnel on violence against women, coordinating a manual women women’s rights, and participating in research on intimate femicide. She joined Women'sNet in 2001 after working with the organisation to develop a website on women's human rights.
Part Time Staff
Fatima Bhyat
Fatima is Women’sNet’s technical consultant. She has been involved with non profitable organisations working within the ICT sector for over 15 years. Her technology related experience comes from the base of having worked at SANGONET where she did user support and onsite installations, and then moved into running trainings for NGOs on various tools, to Email, Web Browsing and building of websites. Later she became the System Administrator and then the manager of the technical Division. She currently is working with the APC under finance, the admin team as well as the technical resource team and WomensNet. Within the WomensNet, she provides remote system administration on Linux sever and technical support and advice to the organisation and staff on various IT related matters.
