Rural Education Access Programme (REAP) is seeking an experienced programme manager to lead, mentor and develop a small team of student advisors and oversee programme implementation & development.
Job Description:
The Rural Education Access Programme (REAP) is an organisation that facilitates access to Higher Education for youth from poor communities. This pro-active recruiting and student support and development programme redresses inequity in rural areas for youth marginalised by poverty, location, and gender.
REAP invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Programme Manager to be based in Cape Town. This is a two-year contract position.

Responsibilities:
* Programme leadership and management
* Programme design and development
* Team leadership
* People management and development of student advisors
* Data base oversight
* Reporting and commentary
* Networking and stakeholder liaison in the Higher Education sector
* Monitoring of delivery of student support including a financial component
Requirements:
* An appropriate university degree or equivalent
* Senior management experience of more than years in a educational, social science or development field
* A proven track record of programme planning & development, report writing, teamwork, people management skills and effective communication
* A unendorsed driving licence, willingness and ability to travel nationally
* Knowledge and experience of the Higher Education sector in South Africa
* Ability to understand and be committed to the Catholic ethos of a community serving humanity
