Women’sNet OWRAP training workshop

The objectives of the workshop are:

- To create, strengthen and build an online community of feminists using ICTs for their projects and programmes
- To contribute and share information among OWRAP partners and with other organisations
- To strategically use ICTs in our projects and programmes

In order to meet these objectives, Women’sNet is offering training on Atrium, e-advocacy and m-advocacy. These tools will help organisations to document and share information, while establishing an online presence.

It has been amazing how through the group presentation on each organisation’s campaigns, ICT tools have already been incorporated. However, there’s need to strengthen that. Some of the expectations that the participants voiced were to communicate more with various organisations and people through Information and Communication technology tools. Hopefully, by the end of the training workshop on Thursday, everything that we hope to achieve will be covered.
