OBJECTIVES:

1. To promote integrated planning and co-ordination between all sector stakeholders in addressing water security, economic development & growth within the context of IDP’s, Planning Commission and Water for Growth & Development
2. To discuss challenges & solutions to ensure sustainable water resource management and water service provision in the Province
3. To develop a concrete water indaba action plan and develop a monitoring framework for supervision by the Provincial Government
4. To provide input for COP 17
5.  To showcase government & private sector initiatives to address climate change
6.  To create awareness and mobilization on climate change
7. To present Gauteng Climate Change Response Strategy and Action Plan
8. To align government strategies in relation to climate change
