Banguera elected UN point person on sexual violence in conflict

Former health minister from Sierrra Leone, Zainub Banguera, was elected the United Nations point person on sexual violence in conflict. Banguera, a survivor of Sierra Leone’s civil war, believes her personal experiences will help her with her current work. During her two year term Banguera plans on encouraging governments to get involved.
