The Open Disclosure Foundation seeks to employ on a part time basis two volunteers with a sound knowledge of Sexual Violence Counseling and reasonable interest/background in Marketing.
Job Description: 
The Open Disclosure Foundation provides long term counseling to victims of sexual violence. Besides psycho-therapy, The Foundation prides itself in utilizing innovative therapy methodologies like Group, Drum and Art Therapy in providing healing to victims. We are seeking to employ on a part time basis two volunteers with a sound knowledge of Sexual Violence Counseling and reasonable interest/background in Marketing. The Foundation is based in the Johannesburg C.B.D

Responsibilities

* Consolidate and establish relationships with communities and schools

* Provide on-going counseling to clients as allocated by the Counseling Manager

* Ensure that ODF and its activities are well within reach of the inhabitants of this country through innovative ways of marketing and media interaction

* Participate actively in research, outreach and client development initiatives

* Provide adequate process notes on each client and each session

* Attend weekly supervision and ensure that each client is discussed in detail to ensure adherence to ethical conduct

* Provide administrative support to the Counseling unit

* Plan, organise and participate in group therapy sessions

* Adhere to ethical code of professional standards

Requirements

* In possession or studying towards a Counseling qualification

* Fluency in English and at least two local languages

* Be able to uphold confidentiality

* Passion and ability to work in and with a team

* Computer literacy and networking skills a necessity

* Experience in counseling and a background in marketing is a added advantage
