Tongaat Youth Development Centres: Child Youth Care Assistant (Night Shift)

Requirements:

• Five years general work experience
• Matric
• Previous experience in the child and youth care field advantageous
• Bilingual (ability to speak vernacular advantageous)
• Valid Code 8 driver’s licence
• PDP licence advantageous
• Demonstrates appropriate morals, values and concern for the well-being of youth

Responsibilities:

• Behaviour management and supervision of youth according to the GBT model of care
• Ensure the safety and well-being of youth at all times
• Adhere to standardised policy and procedure
• This full-time position will suit a responsible person who is prepared to work according to the Girls and Boys Town South Africa values. This position carries a competitive salary. Benefits include Medical Aid and Pension.
