Sexual Health and Rights Initiative South Africa: Manager
The Sexual Health and Rights Initiative South Africa (SHARISA) a newly-registered nonprofit organisation, seeks to appoint a Manager, based in Johannesburg.
S/he will direct and drive the implementation of SHARISA’S founding vision.
As a start-up organisation, the Manager will be resourceful, well-networked and pragmatic.
Responsibilities:
- Build the capacity of stakeholders in the sector
- Promote cohesion among stakeholders
- Raise profile of SRHR among public opinion leaders and decision-makers
- Synthesise existing research in the SRHR field and produce accessible information for use by all stakeholders and the media
Requirements:
- Appropriate qualification
- Minimum of five years experience in management
- Knowledge in the field of sexual and reproductive health and rights
- Communication skills
- Ability, political astuteness and determination to bring together and influence diverse stakeholders
Salary: A competitive salary, commensurate with experience and skills will be offered.
