New loveLife Trust: Junior Print Content Producer
The New loveLife Trust seeks to appoint a Junior Print Content Producer, based in Sandton, Gauteng.
Responsibilities:
- Source, research, develop and write content for the loveLife’s youth magazine
- Source and contribute ideas for multi-platform media consumption/integration such as MYMsta, Radio, Media Ys and loveLife Website
- Source photographic content
- Conduct interviews at loveLife events
- Assist in management of publications including advertising and giveaways
- Write stories that achieve specified learning outcomes;
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Journalism or related field of communication
- Avid online presence
- Knowledge of social networking sites
- Minimum of two years experience in journalism or mobile content creation
- Writing skills
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Photographic skills
- Computer literacy and digital navigation experience
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Willingness to work extended hours is an advantage
- Knowledge of other youth media products, key issues and trends affecting the youth today is an advantage
- Profiles in social media will be an advantage
- Valid driver’s license.
Salary: R99 000 per annum.
