Mfesane: Resource Mobilisation Manager

15 Sep 2010 Mfesane seeks to appoint a Resource Mobilisation Manager, based in Cape Town, to pioneer resource mobilisation and help contribute to its our vision.
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Develop, deliver and continuously evaluate a Resource Mobilisation strategy for Mfesane, involving key personnel
- Facilitate resource mobilisation activities including income generating opportunities/ social enterprise opportunities
- Build strategic partners with corporate, small to medium sized businesses, foundations and the like to access funding, in kind contributions and to increase the potential target group for income generation
- Develop and manage strategic relationships with donors, government, policy makers and other key stakeholders
- Network with relevant organizations and attend important events, where necessary in the evenings
- Assist in developing a culture of entrepreneurship at within Mfesane.
Requirements:
- Experience in project management and professional communication
- Organised and proactive
- Natural networker and relationship builder
- Flair for marketing and experience building a brand
- Tertiary qualification in Development, Marketing or Public Relations
- Minimum of 5-7 years professional working experience
- Proven track record in fundraising
- Bilingual
- South African citizen
- Must be willing and able to travel
