Manager: Operations and Projects
The Market Photo Workshop requires the services of a manager to ensure effective strategic and operational management of the training, public and development programmes. This person will also be responsible for implementing and evaluating projects and project outcomes, as well as driving and developing strategic operations and projects.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience within the arts & culture management industry
- Minimum 2 years experience in project management/leadership
- A critical awareness of the nature and role of photography, and of the training and development landscape
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Must work well under pressure
- Experience of working with an NGO would be an advantage
- Compliment the skills set of the Market Photo Workshop
Level of education
Relevant tertiary qualification - either in photography, arts & culture management, heritage management and/or the visual arts.
Remuneration
Salary before deductions between R11,000 and R13,000 negotiated according to qualifications and experience.
