WHEAT Women's Fund seeks to appoint a Grants Liaison Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Record all grant applications - maintain a database and filing system;
- Support the grants manager in the process of issuing and monitoring grant agreements;
- Document grantee activities and liaise with grantees;
- Monitor grantee progress and visit grantees.
Requirements:
- University degree or a strong tertiary qualification in development and/or gender studies;
- Good analytical skills and familiarity with research processes;
- Excellent computer skills - Microsoft Word and Excel are a requirement, whilst experience in Access and other databases is an added advantage;
- Good administrative abilities;
- Integrity and professional discretion;
- Fluency in local languages will be an advantage;
- Willingness to travel locally;
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
Salary: Negotiable depending on proven experience.
