Fundraising and Communications
Women's Aid seeks to employ the Head of Fundraising and Communications.
Women's Aid is the national domestic violence charity, which co-ordinates an England-wide network of over 500 local domestic and sexual violence services, and campaigns to end violence against women and children. This is an exciting opportunity to join our senior management team and to take the strategic lead on fundraising and communications activities.
Head of Fundraising & Communications
(1 year maternity cover)
With a strong track record of work in public relations, media relations and marketing, as well as raising significant funding through a variety of methods, you will have at least 5 years experience in a similar role. You will be a persuasive and diplomatic communicator with experience of networking at a high level, as well as sound experience in project and staff management. If you have the skills to play a key role in generating funds for Women's Aid and taking forward our public awareness activities, including the ability to manage our new media services, then please contact us.
Salary: £35,852 - £43,556 (NJC Local Authority pay scale 44-53) + benefits
35 hours per week, based in Bristol; benefits include generous bank holidays and annual leave package, contributory pension scheme.
