RECABIP: Managing HIV and AIDS Programmes

 Regional Capacity Building Partners, a network of professional organisations and individuals who have combined their skills and experience to explore cost-effective ways of strengthening the response to HIV and AIDS, climate change, governance and leadership issues, among other development concerns, is conducting a course on Managing HIV and AIDS Programmes from 17-21 May 2010 in Nairobi, Kenya.

This course will help you improve your management skills and your career and employment prospects. The practical nature of the course, and the fact that we have little of theory (well, we need a little bit of that at times) makes it useful particularly useful for those who want to strengthen their skills and knowledge, but even for those who are getting into it for the first time. The modules are designed so that participants understand the critical issues that need to be considered from various levels of the response: the individual, household, organisational/institutional, sectoral, national and international level.

Diploma

  • The diploma course is split into seven modules, six compulsory modules and One optional module
  • One research paper (3 000-5 000 words) per module as continuous assessment Test.

  • The certificate course is split into four modules, three compulsory modules and one optional module
