Quality Management in International Health
The Department of Tropical and Public Health at Heidelberg University is conducting an international postgraduate course on Quality Management in International Health from 5-16 July 2010 in Germany. This is a joint venture with the German Technical Cooperation (GTZ).
This course of study covers the general principles and frameworks for defining and promoting the quality of health systems and services including processes, models and tools for assuring and evaluating quality.
Learning Methods
The course will use case studies from Germany and other countries, and the experience of those within the course, to illustrate issues in promoting and evaluating quality specific to low and middle-income countries.
