The conference, which will take place at Rhodes University, is for bloggers, podcasters, vodcasters, mobile journalists, citizen reporters, new media practitioners, online industry experts, civil society representatives and more. The conference organizers are currently accepting topics and speakers.
The conference will cover "Africa’s Underdevelopment: Digital Citizens Speak Back," using examples of natural disasters, climate change and events like the World Cup in regards to digital media coverage.
