Niven is a independent social development consultant, who works on leadership and social change issues. From January 2005 to March 2007, she served as Noah’s (Nurturing Orphans of AIDS for
Humanity) first Chief Executive Officer. She was also the Chief Executive Officer of the Business Women’s Association, the largest association of business and professional women in South Africa.
Niven, has lectured to, and facilitated at, a number of programs at the Gordon Institute of Business Science in Johannesburg and is a 2007 Archbishop Desmond Tutu Leadership Fellow.
