16 days of Activism LAUNCH

You're cordially invited to attend a LAUNCH of the 16 days of activism against violence on women and children campaign at the Gauteng Legislature, Commissioner St, Johannesburg.

This launch will take place on Tuesday, 25 November 2008, (International Day for the Elimination of Violence on Women) from 12noon - 4pm.

Civil society organisations will once again create awareness on gender-based violence against women, and addressing the challenges we face to act now against abuse. Activities will include key note presentations from NGOs/CBOs, discussions, reports and the lighting of the 16-day SYMBOL candle.Organisations are invited to display their work from 12noon - 1pm. Refreshments will be served.
