The training offers:

Phaphama Initiatives and the Satyana Institute are facilitating a series of groundbreaking training workshops on Gender Reconciliation.

Developed over the past 15 years by the Satyana Institute, the Gender Reconciliation process has established a proven track record for confronting and reconciling highly challenging issues between women and men in groups, communities and organisational settings – as documented in the book Divine Duality (Hohm Press, 2007) by William Keepin.

POWA will be conducting workshops on customary law marriages. The workshops will be conducted in the following areas: Denver, Soweto, Tembisa and Katlehong. The workshops will run on 25 November 2009, 02, and 09 of December 2009. The purpose is to educate women on the law regarding customary marriages and to raise awareness on the new amendments to the Customary Law Act.

Women'sNet and Cell-Life partner to invite you to participate in a training event on using an SMS communications Platform called Mobilisr, to communicate with your audience. The platform will be available to non-profits who use it for activities relating to HIV/AIDS.
