Southeast Asia Conference on Child Sex Tourism

A large number of cases of commercial sexual exploitation of children in travel and tourism in Southeast Asia countries has been increasing significantly through the years. The World Tourism Organisation (WTO) reported that more that one million children are sexually abused in prostitution through tourism industries in all over the globe.

In addition, ECPAT International states that Asia, particularly Southeast Asia and certain countries in South Asia are the target of child sex tourists.
