Gender Links in partnership with local government associations will convene the first Southern African Gender Justice and Local Government Summit from 22-24 March 2010 in Johannesburg.
The conference will be hosted under the banner ‘365 days of local action to end gender violence’.

The summit will focus on best practices for empowering women and addressing gender based violence (GBV) submitted by local councils, associations, community and faith-based organisations.
