The National Conference on The South African Domestic Violence Act is to take place on the 26th to 28th November 2008 in Parktonian Hotel, Johannesburg, South Africa. The conference aims to take stock of the progress made in the struggle against domestic violence in South Africa since the promulgation of the Act and reflect on the gains and challenges faced by both government and civil society in the eradication of domestic violence. It will also be a platform to share and debate the developments at the continental and international level in the field of domestic violence and map the way forward.
