Does Lerato have to marry this man? What choices does the girl have? She can run away to the next town,village or police station and get raped on the way, or she can oblige. I don't know. But she should not take her own life away. What other choices does she have? Run, run and run. Are these decisions made by parents governed by culture or just personal? Most are governed by personal thoughts, but those thoughts are governed by culture. Does Thembi have to continue having sex with this man? No, Thembi is just a naughty child.

Did you ever feel like someone has made you feel like you are uselss object and have no purpose in life,its like the person is your creater and has complete control over your life it sucks guys people really need to understand you and your feelings. if you are a life controller of others start changing coz you wouldn't like to be controlled dat is y u doing da same to others.

Its very disguisting 2 me that the are peaple who take advantage of girls because we cant kick nor puntch hard even if this is the case why abuse some 1 who cant fight back that very much pain full. Let's say you are a guy & you beat your girlfriend every weekend that's not nice what if some 1 did the same to your mom whould beating your girlfriend still be a good thing? I don't think so.If you go around beating women & girls surelly you don't respect your mom coz that your sister you bullying. peace out!

Death of a Strong Black Woman - Author Unknown to Me

This morning, while struggling with the reality of being a human instead of a myth, the strong black woman passed away, Without the slightest bit of hoopla. Medical sources say that she died of natural causes, but those who knew & used her know she died from: being silent when she should have been screaming, milling when she should have been raging, being sick & not wanting anyone to know because her pain might inconvenience them. An overdose of other people clinging on to her when she didn't even have energy for herself.

I recall when I was about 6 or 7 and I had my first experience of domestic violence. It happened when my brother and I were sent by our grandmother to go get some bread from the spaza down the road. When we arrived a woman, with a baby on her back, and a man (I assume it was her boyfriend) were having a very heated, very loud argument on the side of the road. I don't remember what was said - what I do remember is a crowd of spectators slowly building up around these two and after some heated words, the fists that the man laid on her body - and the baby.
