Vulnerably being a love slave to you,
Like a dreamer craving for success,
I sing you a harmonious tune,
Yet, all I get is nothing but torment.

Unbearably trapped into love for you,
You know, a case of do or die;
I fall prey to your malicious moods
That I have no place to hide.

Incredulously overwhelmed by your elegance,
With a desire to uphold peace and harmony,
I feel distance, tension and bitterness;
No to mention the boundless fantasy.

I hear an outcry of women and children,
Sadly protesting against abusive men.
I blow my own horn in stupidity,
Damned by the spirit of chauvinism

I see a ghastly march down the path,
Daringly parading and chanting in disgust.
I shiver and tremble in disbelief,
Overwhelmed by the state of cowardice.

I hear deafening noises of bustling sirens,
Horribly howling and breaking the silence.
I boast and threaten to shoot to kill,
Inflated by the empty pride like a blowfish.

I hear an outcry of women and children,

 On 23rd March 2011, I had to fly down to Cape Town for the UNGASS meeting to be held on 24th and 25th March. To cut the story short, let’s just say it was a memorable and yet stressful experience getting down to the Mother City, which proved to myself how far one can go to get what they want (lol).

BEST CAMP EVER,I WENT THERE HOLDING ON IN THE PAST BUT WITH ADVISES AND TALKS WE HAD AS GIRLS HELPED ME A LOT BECAUSE NOW AM ABLE TO MOVE ON WITH MY LIFE.THEY'VE TAUGHT ME THINGS THAT NEVER KNEW LIKE TO MAKE A VIDEO ON INTERNET AND MAKE IT LIKE THOSE WE SEE ON TELEVISION;IN EVERYTHING I LEARNED THAT THERES A SOLUTION IN EVERY PROBLEM ESPECIALLY ISSUES THAT AFFECTS US GIRLS...ISSUES LIKE TEENAGE PREGNANCY,RAPE AND LOSS OF IDENTITY.IN SHORT THE CAMP WAS EDUCATIVE AND IT HELPS US GIRLS A LOT.
