SUPRISED THAT MANY YOUNG PEOPLE VOTED! Wow! I felt great after casting my first ever vote as a young South African! The thing that suprised me the most was that a whole lot of young people in my township actually voted! When my friends 7 I went to the voting station we were like "wow! you are here to vote as well?!" to some of our peers. It seem like most young people in my community kept it a secret that they registered to vote as most of us were suprised to see each other at the voting station. I wonder why? because there was nothing to be ashamed of!

i am currently doing my third year in journalism and finding intership has been a bumpy tough road for me, can someone tell me how voting's supposed to help me? i have been hearing news from other fellow students that if you are not registered to vote inparticular for ANC most likely not going to find a job in our country?
