Lerato Legoabe
Lerato Legoabe has extensive experience as a youth and gender activist and has held numerous leadership positions in student politics and Young Women's Networks nationally and globally having served on AWID'S young women's steering commitee . She has participated in national and international conferences that focus on the intersecting dynamics of youth, women and ICTs, including delivering a keynote address at the "Fill the Gap", Youth and ICT Conference in Amsterdam in 2004, and the Forum on Women's Activism in Constitutional and Democratic Reform in Canada in 2006. Legoabe has a background in the natural sciences and project management which she studied at the University of the Western Cape and WITS respectively. She has worked on advocacy media projects such as the National Brother for Life Campaign, Scrutinize HIV and AIDS youth campaign as a manager at ABC Ulwazi, as well as an Africa Coordinator for the global Nike /ASHOKA Girls in Sport project. She is currently nurturing an interest in ICT policy.
Lebogang Marishane
Lebogang is an ICT practitioner and is passionate about Information and communication technologies and their use for development. She has been a web developer and content manager, website mistress, knowledge management strategy developer, technology programmer, a communucations manager, information manager and is passionate about ICTs. Lebo is an information activist and has always been driven by her passion to promote access to information - especially through the use of technology. With the emergence of new media tools and mobile tech, Lebo would like to activate and engage girls and women to use these technologies as agents of change.
Eunice Mwesigwa
Eunice has been the Office Manager at Women’sNet since April 2007. Her responsibilities include the development of office procedures, managing human resources records, oversight of the finances and maintaining organisational systems and procedures. Eunice also ensures the smooth running of the administrative and financial aspects of Women’s Net.
Eva Ramokobala
Eva joined Women'sNet in February 2008 as Project Officer. She is now Project Manager for Girls'Net. Eva has a BA with Media studies and Political Science as majors from the University of Limpopo were she also worked as a radio presenter for Turf FM. Eva has a certificate in Telecommunications Regulation, Policy and Management (TPRM) from the Wits Link Centre. She believes education is a basic right and that no child should be deprived from it. When talking about the empowerment of women and girls, Eva thinks technology should be a sphere largely considered. Mo light!
Fanisa Masia
Fanisa joined Women'sNet in 2010 as Website Content Administrator Intern. She has since been promoted to Project officer. Fanisa holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours with Media Studies from Wits University. Having previuosly worked as a media monitor Fanisa believes that the media is a very influential tool to help overcome gender stereotypes and discrimination, while ICT tools are key to development.

Caroline Tagny
Caroline recently joined Women’sNet as a volunteer after working in the community-based organisation sector and the International solidarity sector in Canada. Holding a bachelor degree in Graphic Design, she first discovered the power of technology and citizen journalism for social change while doing an internship with Khanya College in 2003. Since then, she has worked on different projects related to computer literacy, ICT policy, and young adults international solidarity and employment programs. Caroline is particularly interested in issues regarding the use of new social media platforms and mobile technologies for women’s empowerment and is currently undertaking a Master’s degree in Media Studies at Wits.
