16 Days of Activism
Yesterday marked the 11th year of South Africa commemorating the 16 days of Activism for no violence against women and children. This global campaign challenges us as nations and individuals, to put a stop to violence against women and children, and create violence free societies.
I suggest that today we just chat, write and talk about this campaign, its significance and impact in our lives. Let us start unpacking our connotations about this day. On a personal level, lets talk about our understanding of the campaign, are we talking to those that need to be hearing the campaign's message?. Are our messages audible?
